Julia Owen’s IYENGAR Yoga and French classes
Due to the current situation all classes are at present online using Zoom.
Julia is a fully qualified Iyengar Yoga Teacher to Junior Intermediate level. The online class is suitable for beginners and those with a little more experience. All students must complete a health declaration form to ensure that the class is suitable and safe for each participant. Yoga props such as blocks, blankets, belts are advised to help to ensure accuracy of alignment in postures. This helps the students to gain maximum benefit from each posture and avoids uneven strain on the body.
Periods of relaxation and restorative postures balance more energising aspects of the practise. Yoga makes space in the body, improves feelings of well being and brings energy to help students feel calmer and able to tackle what each new day may bring.
